Good Earth was inducted into the Small Business Hall of Fame!
John and Karen Gardner, owners of Good Earth Natural Foods, was inducted into the Arkansas Small Business Hall of Fame. The Gardner's where nominated by Henderson State University's Small Business Development Center.
Nine businesses from across the state were inducted.
"The inductees represent a broad spectrum of Arkansas small businesses," said Dr. Georgia Hale, interim dean of the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith College of Business. "All of them have phenomenal stories about their efforts."
The hall of fame recognizes "the vision, dedication, hard work and perseverance of successful small businesses that have created notable value for their communities." It is housed at UA Fort Smith.
Good Earth Natural Foods is a health food and vitamin business founded in 1998.
